Which sectors and clusters of the economy could drive recovery in Botswana?

The drive towards economic recovery from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) will stem from the current actions Botswana and other countries are taking to curb the impacts of COVID-19 on real and financial economies. How Botswana responds, will not only impact its citizens, but also, impact its neighbours, regionally and further globally. In order, for Botswana to return to a trajectory that drives economic recovery, whilst still, in the depth of a global crisis, the government needs to unpack the simplistic principle of the science behind the relationship between cause and effect, whilst implementing structures to reopen the economy. The outcomes and effects of opening the economy needs to have a sound balance in both, curbing the spread of the virus, and a sensible recovery to daily economic activity.
